Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (VMware)

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (VMware) to join a leading technology organization in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with customer-facing consulting experience and will be responsible for supporting sales engagements, solution design, technical presentations, workshops, proposals, and enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Conduct customer discovery sessions and technical workshops. • Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into solution designs. • Prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution proposals, BoQs, and technical documentation. • Support RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses. • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). • Work closely with sales, delivery, and vendor teams throughout the sales lifecycle. • Design and position VMware-based solutions for enterprise customers. • Provide infrastructure modernization, transformation, and migration strategies. • Act as a trusted advisor for virtualization, cloud, storage, and data center technologies. Required Technical Skills • Strong VMware expertise including: • VMware vSphere • VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) • VMware vCenter • ESXi • VMware vSAN • VMware NSX-T • VMware SRM • VMware Aria Suite • Enterprise Data Center Architecture experience. • Storage and infrastructure solution design. • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning. • Hybrid Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, VMware Cloud solutions). • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure. Preferred Experience • VMware Professional Services, Solution Architecture, or Technical Presales background. • Experience with hyperscale migration projects and enterprise transformation programs. • Experience with IBM technologies (IBM Storage, FlashSystem, IBM Cloud, or IBM Infrastructure Solutions). • Experience in Banking, Government, Telecommunications, or Large Enterprise environments. • VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX, VCF certifications) are highly desirable.
