Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account details (email, name); the CV and information you upload; your answers in the AI interview; and basic usage data needed to run the service. If you are a Founder Pass member and choose to give us a WhatsApp number, we store it solely so the founder can contact you directly about your job search — it is optional, never shared, and never used for marketing messages.

How we use it

To build your master profile, score and match GCC job listings to you, generate tailored resumes, run your application tracker, and communicate with you about the service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we never share it for marketing or advertising. To run the service, your content is processed by trusted service providers acting on our behalf:

• Anthropic — AI processing of your CV, interview, and tailoring (Claude).
• Voyage AI — generating embeddings used to match you to roles.
• Polar — payment processing as our Merchant of Record.
• Our hosting provider — running the application and database.
• Resend — sending you email (when email features are enabled).
• PostHog — privacy-focused product analytics to understand how the service is used.

Each processes your data only to provide its part of the service.

AI interview: when you use the AI interview, we store your conversation with it to build your profile and let you continue where you left off. It's linked to your account and used only to generate your matches and tailored resumes — we don't sell it or share it with third parties.

Assistant chat: our on-site assistant (Sami) is available to everyone, including visitors without an account. We store these conversations to understand what people need and improve the service. If you later delete your account, we unlink the conversation from you and may keep it in de-identified form (with no link to your account) for that purpose.

AI Career Team: when you chat with any of your AI teammates (Profile, Career Strategy, Match Analyst, Application Specialist, the UnfairJobs Guide, and others as they launch), we store the conversation and link it to your account, so each teammate can pick up where you left off and share what it learns with the rest of your team. These conversations are deleted along with your account.

Feedback: if you tell the UnfairJobs Guide about a bug, complaint, confusion, or idea, we log it — in your own words — so we can see and fix what's actually happening. Unlike your AI Career Team conversations above, this feedback record is kept even after you delete your account: we remove the link to your account (it becomes anonymous) but keep the record itself, since it's how we learn what to improve.

Free tools: the free tools (Gulf CV Score, Job Fit Checker) work without an account. The CV and job text you give them are read to produce your result and are not saved. We do store the result itself — your score, band and, for the Job Fit Checker, the role and country it inferred — in a first-party cookie on your own device for 7 days, so that if you sign up you can carry it into your profile instead of starting from zero. It contains no CV content and no personal details, it is used once and then cleared, and you can remove it any time by clearing your cookies. The Salary Package Calculator runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your settings, which removes your associated data, including your AI Career Team conversations. Assistant-chat (Sami) conversations and feedback logged with the UnfairJobs Guide may be kept in de-identified form (unlinked from your account), as described above.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices
