About this dataset
We hold substantive description text for 97.4% of these listings (at least 150 characters). That describes the completeness of our own dataset, not a property of the Gulf job market.
What this does not tell you
- These are listings OBSERVED on one monitored source — not a census of the GCC labour market. Roles not posted to this source are absent by construction.
- Figures cover the six GCC states only (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain). Listings we hold for markets outside the GCC are excluded from these counts entirely.
- Counts are of listings, not of distinct employers or distinct real-world vacancies. The same role advertised twice appears twice.
- Cross-source duplicates are not deduplicated; figures for one source are not additive with any other source.
- Listing age cannot be independently verified: posted_date is overwritten on every re-scrape with the value the source reports that day.
- No salary, hiring-outcome, response-rate or role-level figures are derived here — the underlying data does not support them.
