Senior Accountant

• Lead the Accounts Payable and Reconciliation function across multiple markets/entities. • Manage vendor reconciliation, supplier statements, outstanding balances, and payment clearances. • Ensure accurate and timely invoice verification, posting, payment processing, and vendor settlements. • Oversee airline, GDS, BSP, LCC, hotel, visa, and other supplier reconciliations. • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation activities and ensure pending items are cleared within agreed timelines. • Identify and resolve reconciliation differences, duplicate payments, unapplied transactions, refunds, incentives, and outstanding supplier balances. • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including AP ageing, vendor balances, accruals, provisions, and reconciliation sign offs. • Ensure proper audit documentation, internal controls, compliance, and timely response to audit queries. • Drive automation and process improvement to reduce manual reconciliation and payment activities. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 4 to 6+ years of corporate accounting experience/Payables, with at least 2–3 years strictly within a travel agency, TMC (Travel Management Company), or OTA (Online Travel Agency) environment.
