Jr. AP Accountant

• Processing Invoices: Verifying invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy. ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies. • Reconcile vendor statements to internal records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly. • Maintaining Accounts Payable Records: Ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies. • Prepare and execute timely vendor payments, managing payment runs and ensuring adherence to payment terms. • Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing accruals and reconciling AP-related general ledger accounts. • Vendor Management: reconciling vendor statements, and managing payment history. • Ensuring timely payments to avoid late penalties and interest. • Working with various departments to resolve discrepancies and confirm expenses. • • Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field. • 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or related accounting function. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., ERP SAP, Oracle) is a plus. • Desired skills for this role include strong attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and experience in accounting or finance
