Junior Accountant

Managing accounts payable. Recording transactions Reconciling accounts payable Producing and maintaining financial records Tracking expenses and paying them on time Input and maintain accurate transactional data, journals, and ledger entries within the accounting software. Review, verify, and process employee expense claims and petty cash disbursements Assist in preparing financial summaries, monthly cost accruals, and compiling documentation for internal or external audits Match purchase orders, process vendor invoices, route them for approval, and schedule timely payments. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. • Hands-on experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, and supplier reconciliation. • Knowledge of accounting software, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. • Experience handling petty cash, employee expense claims, and payment schedules. • Ability to match purchase orders with supplier invoices and supporting documents. • Familiarity with month-end closing, cost accruals, and audit documentation. • Basic knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. • Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
