Java application Support Payments

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for critical Java-based payment applications, diagnosing and resolving complex production issues within strict SLAs. • Monitor application performance and availability using APM tools, proactively identifying and mitigating potential bottlenecks or failures. • Analyze transaction failures and payment gateway integration issues, collaborating with development teams and third-party vendors to implement fixes. • Develop and maintain robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure continuous operation and rapid incident response. • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, including application deployments, configuration updates, and database patching, with minimal disruption. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment processing, fraud detection systems, and security protocols. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of experience in supporting Java-based enterprise applications, with a strong focus on payment systems or financial services. • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks, with an understanding of microservices architecture. • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) for data analysis and troubleshooting. • Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and their role in payment processing. • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
