Systems Analyst – (SRE)-Payments

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and highly available payment systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. • Develop and deploy automated solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment within the payment ecosystem. • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues in payment processing pipelines through deep system monitoring and analysis. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define SLOs/SLIs for critical payment services and drive initiatives to meet or exceed them. • Years of Experience * 8-10 Years Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in production/application support, Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure support for payment technology environments. Required Skills * Primary technical and functional skills · Strong production/application support and troubleshooting capabilities. · Experience supporting business-critical applications in high-availability environments. · Strong understanding of application and infrastructure monitoring, alerting and incident management. · Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments. · Good understanding of databases, preferably Oracle, with ability to perform operational SQL queries and database-level troubleshooting. · Understanding of application servers, middleware, APIs, web services and system integrations. · Knowledge of infrastructure patching, vulnerability remediation and technology lifecycle management. · Experience with log analysis and application-performance-monitoring tools. · Understanding of high availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and operational resilience concepts. · Strong incident triage and problem-solving skills. · Ability to perform root-cause analysis and identify preventive actions. · Basic scripting/automation capability for health checks, monitoring and repetitive operational activities. · Good technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills. · Ability to work effectively in a shift-based and high-pressure production support environment. Required Experience / Knowledge Areas * Specific domain or industry knowledge required · Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in production support, application support, SRE or infrastructure/application operations. · Knowledge on ISO 20022 and other relevant industry standards in payment and banking domains · Experience supporting banking, financial services or payment-processing platforms. · Experience operating and supporting applications with high availability and stringent service-level requirements. · Knowledge of real-time and time-sensitive payment processing environments. · Experience in production incident management, service restoration and problem management. · Practical experience in DR testing, resilience validation and production readiness activities. · Experience coordinating infrastructure patching, vulnerability remediation and technology upgrades. · Understanding of technology risk, audit and regulatory-control requirements within a banking environment. · Experience working across application, infrastructure, database, network and security teams to resolve complex production issues. · Experience supporting Payment Hub or similar enterprise payment-processing platforms. · Exposure to UAE payment systems and banking payment infrastructure. · Experience with observability/APM platforms such as Dynatrace or equivalent. · Familiarity with Oracle databases, Java-based applications, APIs and middleware platforms Skills production support application support monitoring and incident management
