Store Executive

Job description 1. Job Purpose This position plays an important role in proper care and maintenance of stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory. The role is assisted by pickers and helpers. 2. Main Tasks & Accountabilities Stock control: • Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service • Maintain a high level of cleanness and hygienic standards in all storage areas • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom • Secure the status of each supply • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies • Disseminate the supply in its designated areas. • Receive and unpack materials and supplies • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping • Monitor the expiry date of the store items & inform accordingly to the immediate supervisor. • Maintain necessary records with accuracy of information (number and kind of supplies) and should follow always FIFO method of issuing. • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control • Check materials and supplies and reports when stock is low • Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs • Coordinate the disposal of surpluses/damaged goods • Follow FEFO Hygiene and safety of finished goods store/warehouse: • Enhanced levels of hygiene in finished goods store/warehouse • Ensure company assets/machinery in the finished goods store/warehouse are regularly maintained/serviced • Ensure safety in finished goods store/warehouse by monitoring stacking and clearing gangways, and adhering to SHE requirement 3. Main Contacts and Working Relationships • Internal CEO, Chiefs, Head of Departments. • External Vendors, Suppliers, Media agencies etc. 5. Position Location • All depots across Oman • Travel domestic and international 4. Person Specification (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience) Education Level Minimum Requirement • High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification Professional Qualifications • Valid driver s license Work Experience • Prior working experience of 1-3 years in a similar position Experience in FMCG/Dairy industry desirable Job Specific Skills • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal Safety, Environmental and Health policies • Thorough knowledge of warehousing activities Generic Skills • Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self- motivator, and attention to detail • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability • Integrity, discretion and loyalty
