Job Summary:
The Warehouse Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and
distribution of materials within the warehouse. This includes receiving, organizing, inventory
control, dispatching of goods, and ensuring accurate documentation of all stock
movements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, physical capability,
and a proactive approach to maintaining inventory integrity and warehouse organization.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Stock Handling & Dispatch
• Asist in preparation of daily stocks based on store requisitions.
• Checking the stocks once prepared.
• Assist in loading goods safely onto delivery vehicles.
• Assist with in-store productions, when required.
Receiving & Documentation
• Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
• Cross-check delivery documents and report discrepancies.
• File and maintain all receiving documents accurately in an organized manner.
Inventory Control
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor item levels, expiry dates and notify the Warehouse Incharge.
• Adhering to implementation of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
Warehouse Maintenance & Organization
• Organize warehouse materials in a systematic and accessible manner.
• Assist in loading/unloading and moving goods as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse at all times.
• Handle and store all items safely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Incharge on stock needs and order planning.
• Notify the Incharge of any damaged or defective items immediately.
General Responsibilities
• Follow all company policies and management directives.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/ Warehouse Incharge.
• Adapt to changing workloads, priorities, or schedules.
• Contribute positively to a team-oriented, safety-first environment.
Working Conditions:
• Work is primarily in a warehouse environment.
• May require early morning shifts or weekend/off days availability upon
requirements.
• Must be available during off-days or irregular hours for critical deliveries.
