Job Description: SME cum Test Lead – Finacle 11.x & Treasury Role: SME cum Test Lead Experience: 10+ Years Work Location: Kuwait Project Duration: 1 Year Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or candidates with a maximum of 30 days’ notice Mandatory Skills: Finacle 11.x, Treasury, FX, Money Market (MM), Derivatives, and Fixed Income (FI) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SME cum Test Lead with strong expertise in Finacle 11.x and Treasury , covering Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), Derivatives, and Fixed Income (FI). The candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities, provide functional expertise, and ensure the quality and reliability of banking and Treasury applications. The role requires a strong understanding of Treasury products, banking operations, test management, and coordination with business and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Test Lead for Finacle 11.x and Treasury applications. • Lead end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, test strategy, test case design, execution, and reporting. • Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. • Perform and manage functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing. • Validate Treasury business processes and transactions across the following areas: • Foreign Exchange (FX): Spot, forward, swap, and related FX transactions. • Money Market (MM): Deposits, borrowings, placements, and related money market transactions. • Derivatives: Treasury derivative products, trade lifecycle, and settlement processes. • Fixed Income (FI): Bonds, securities, trade processing, and settlement activities. • Validate transaction processing, accounting entries, interfaces, settlements, and related financial workflows. • Coordinate with business users, developers, functional consultants, and other project stakeholders. • Manage defect identification, prioritization, tracking, resolution, and closure. • Ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to project quality standards. • Monitor testing progress, identify risks and dependencies, and provide regular status reports. • Support business users during UAT and assist in resolving functional issues. • Lead and mentor testing team members and ensure timely completion of project deliverables. Mandatory Skills and Qualifications • 10+ years of overall experience in banking IT, financial applications, functional consulting, or software testing. • Strong hands-on experience with Finacle 11.x . • Mandatory experience in Treasury applications and Treasury product testing . • Strong functional knowledge of: • Foreign Exchange (FX) • Money Market (MM) • Derivatives • Fixed Income (FI) • Proven experience as a Test Lead, Testing SME, or Test Manager. • Experience in test planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management, and test reporting. • Good understanding of Treasury trade lifecycle, confirmations, settlements, accounting, and financial transaction processing. • Experience in SIT, UAT, functional testing, and regression testing. • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • Experience in banking implementation, transformation, migration, upgrade, or application support projects. • Knowledge of Treasury interfaces, integration testing, and reconciliation processes. • Experience working with onsite and offshore teams. • Previous experience in international banking projects or Middle East engagements would be an advantage.
