Senior Officer Treasury & Settlements

Reports To Treasury & Settlements Section Head, Ops Job Purpose Responsible for allocated tasks related to treasury products and investment operational activities as well as processing Wholesale Term Deposits and ACIC Gulf and Kuwait Fund instructions, all transactions should be error free and securely completed within the agreed SLA and cut off time. Generic Accountabilities Generic Accountabilities are not specified for this role Specific Accountabilities • Treasury Products Processing: Ensure that allocated Money Market/Islamic Products, FX and Derivative transaction are properly processed within the agreed SLA and follow up on any issue not adhering to the rules and regulations and/or is causing delays. • ABK Investments: Ensure that allocated instructions received from TID as well as SFD regarding ABK Investments are properly processed. • Wholesale Term Deposits: Ensure that allocated wholesale TD are properly processed and in line with the received instructions and rates. • ACIC Funds: Process allocated Gulf and Kuwait fund instructions as well as all third party fund settlements. • Customer service Advise customers on ambiguities, provide guidance on transactions and support them in protecting their interests • SLA and Cut off Times: Ensure that transaction are completed within the agreed SLA and prior to the agreed cut off time. • Procedures and Process: Adhere to set policies and procedures Job Success Factors • Accuracy and timeliness • Good productivity • Effectives checks, processes etc. • Coordination/ Follow-up with branches • Maintaining effective databases and carrying out of reconciliations • Good response to queries from internal & external customers • Effective use of systems to complete reconciliations • Good documentation and technical outputs Education Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certification/Experience Experience At least 3 years banking sector experience Skills Knowledge of processing systems Knowledge of processing regulations and standards Knowledge of legislation e.g. AML legislation Knowledge of operations in a more complex work area Work Contact Internal: Branches, CBD/ SFD, IT, Finance, HR, , RBD, Compliance (AML), Legal & risk.
