Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare and review quantity take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates. • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. • Prepare interim payment applications and support certification of subcontractor payments. • Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments and variations. • Prepare and evaluate variation orders, claims and change orders. • Conduct measurement of completed works in accordance with contract requirements. • Maintain accurate commercial and cost records for assigned projects. • Assist with monthly cost reports, cash-flow forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments. • Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Planning, Engineering and Commercial teams. • Support final account preparation and project close-out activities. • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline. • Minimum 5+ years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience , preferably within the UAE/GCC construction industry. • Strong experience working with a main contractor / contracting company . • Good knowledge of BOQ measurement, variations, payment applications, subcontractor evaluation and cost control. • Familiarity with construction contracts and commercial documentation. • Strong numerical, analytical and negotiation skills. • Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying / cost management tools. • UAE project experience will be preferred Preferred Profile • Experience in major building, residential, commercial, hospitality or high-rise projects. • Exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities will be an advantage. • Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
