PRODUCTION FLOOR WORKING SUPERVISOR

• Supervise and manage daily production activities in a stainless steel laser cutting and bending workshop. • Operate and oversee CNC laser cutting machines, press brakes, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment. • Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and fabrication specifications. • Plan daily production schedules, allocate jobs, and monitor workflow to meet delivery deadlines. • Handle stainless steel materials, including SS304 and SS316, ensuring proper cutting, bending, and fabrication. • Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and ensure correct operating parameters for different jobs. • Check finished products for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and compliance with customer specifications. • Coordinate with design, sales, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth production operations. • Monitor raw material consumption, minimize wastage, and improve production efficiency. • Ensure proper maintenance of machines, tools, and workshop equipment. • Maintain production records, job cards, material usage reports, and quality inspection records. • Supervise production workers, assign responsibilities, and ensure productivity and discipline on the shop floor. • Enforce workplace safety procedures and ensure proper handling of stainless steel sheets and fabricated components. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to avoid delays and rework. • Support the setup and development of the new workshop, including organizing workstations and establishing efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in stainless steel sheet metal fabrication, fiber laser cutting, press brake bending, quality control, and team supervision. This is a practical, floor-based role for someone who can manage daily production while operating machinery whenever required. � JOB DETAILS • Position: Production Floor Working Supervisor • Industry: Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Fabrication • Location: Al Quoz / DIP, Dubai, UAE • Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site • Reports To: Owner / General Manager • Salary: To be discussed based on experience • Joining: Immediate • Package: Visa, medical insurance, and accommodation / transport allowance (to be confirmed) �️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan and manage daily production schedules to ensure timely order completion and dispatch. • Supervise laser operators, press brake operators, helpers, and delivery drivers. • Read engineering drawings and ensure accurate nesting, cutting, and bending according to specifications. • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, burrs, scratches, heat marks, and bending defects. • Manage stainless steel inventory, including grades, thicknesses, surface finishes, remnants, and scrap. • Ensure proper handling, protective film preservation, cleaning, and packaging of finished products. • Monitor machine performance, arrange routine maintenance, and report breakdowns or production delays. • Enforce workshop safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards. • Maintain daily production, material consumption, rejection, and scrap records. • Train and guide operators and helpers to maintain productivity and quality standards. • Operate fiber laser cutting or press brake machines when required, especially during peak workloads or staff shortages. ✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, including stainless steel. • Minimum 2 years of experience supervising production teams on the workshop floor. • Hands-on experience with fiber laser cutting machines , including nesting, cut quality, assist-gas settings, lens maintenance, and nozzle care. • Practical knowledge of press brake bending and bend accuracy. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work within specified tolerances. • Knowledge of stainless steel grades SS304 and SS316 , including 2B, hairline, and mirror finishes. • Experience using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, angle gauges, and measuring tapes. • Good spoken English, with Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic preferred. • UAE workshop experience and candidates available for immediate or short-notice joining are preferred. ⭐ ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES • Experience with CAD/CAM software and laser nesting programs. • Experience setting up a new workshop or commissioning new machinery. • Knowledge of stainless steel brushing, mirror polishing, and surface defect prevention. • Basic ERP, inventory, or production management system knowledge. • Previous welding and general fabrication experience. � THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for a practical leader who leads from the production floor, not just from an office.
