Roles and Responsibilities – Metal Fabrication Technician • Perform metal fabrication work, including cutting, bending, grinding, drilling, and shaping metal materials. • Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications. • Carry out fitting, welding, and assembly of metal components as required. • Work with steel, stainless steel, and other sheet metal materials. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. • Assist with CNC laser cutting and press brake bending operations when required. • Measure, mark, and prepare materials according to job requirements. • Inspect fabricated components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards. • Perform deburring, grinding, polishing, and finishing of metal products. • Handle materials carefully to minimize damage and material wastage. • Identify fabrication defects and make necessary corrections. • Maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in good working condition. • Follow workshop safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain a clean and organized working environment. • Coordinate with the production supervisor and other workshop team members to complete jobs on schedule. • Ensure all fabricated products meet customer specifications and required quality standards. We are seeking a practical, hands-on technician with experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal cutting, bending, grinding, welding, fitting, and assembly.
