MEP Supervisor – Building Construction

Job Description We are looking for an experienced **MEP Supervisor** with a strong background in **building construction** to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on construction sites. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in **villa, residential, commercial, or high\-rise building projects**, with the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily MEP activities while ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. These are also common requirements in current Bahrain MEP construction postings. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily **MEP construction and installation works**. * Monitor **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and fire alarm** works. * Supervise MEP technicians, workers, subcontractors, and site teams. * Review and interpret **MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications**. * Coordinate MEP works with **civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams**. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper workmanship and quality. * Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems. * Monitor daily progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and productivity. * Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, HSE requirements, and construction standards. * Coordinate **testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover** activities. * Prepare daily/weekly progress and manpower reports. * Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. * Ensure required MEP materials and equipment are available on site when needed. Requirements * **3–5\+ years of experience** as an MEP Supervisor in building construction. * Strong **hands\-on construction site experience is a must**. * **Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.** * Experience in **villas, residential, commercial, or high\-rise projects** is an advantage. * Strong knowledge of: * HVAC systems * Electrical systems * Plumbing and water supply * Drainage * Firefighting and fire alarm systems * Ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings. * Experience managing subcontractors and construction site teams. * Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner is highly preferred.** * Candidates with **cancelled/transferable visa or valid local status** are preferred. Important We are specifically looking for a **construction\-focused MEP Supervisor**. Candidates whose experience is mainly in **maintenance or facilities management**, without hands\-on building construction experience, may not be suitable for this position. Work Location: In person
