MEP Building Services Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **MEP Building Services Engineer** to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building construction and hands\-on experience in coordinating and managing MEP building services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP works from installation through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP building services activities on construction sites. * Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP installations. * Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Coordinate MEP services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works. * Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site teams. * Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and installation quality. * Identify and resolve technical issues, MEP clashes, and site coordination problems. * Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions. * Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and MEP activities. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover. * Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management. * Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports. * Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain regulations. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. * **3–7 years of relevant MEP/building construction experience.** * Strong hands\-on experience in building construction projects. * Experience with villas, high\-rise buildings, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. * Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications. * Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams. * Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE procedures. * Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage. * Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem\-solving skills. * **Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.** * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner preferred.** Preferred Candidate Candidates with strong practical Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have worked on **high\-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects**, will be given priority.
