ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - MEP

MEP Electrical Engineer **Pay:** BHD 400–800 per month **Work Location:** Bahrain \| In person Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and experienced **MEP Electrical Engineer** to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising electrical works across multiple MEP projects, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, authority requirements, and applicable standards. Key Responsibilities * Manage and supervise **MEP electrical works** from commencement through testing, commissioning, and handover. * Plan, coordinate, and monitor day\-to\-day site activities, manpower, and subcontractors. * Review electrical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submittals. * Supervise installation of **LV systems, DBs/MDBs/SMDBs, power and lighting systems, cabling, containment, earthing, and associated electrical works**. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. * Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Prepare work schedules, progress reports, material requests, inspections, and other site documentation. * Coordinate material procurement, verify quantities, and monitor material availability. * Attend site meetings, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. * Coordinate with relevant authorities and support required inspections and approvals. * Ensure compliance with **QHSE requirements** and approved project procedures. * Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned works. Requirements * **Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.** * Minimum **3 years of experience in MEP/Electrical projects**, preferably in Bahrain or GCC. * Strong knowledge of **LV distribution, power, lighting, cable containment, DBs/panels, earthing, and associated MEP electrical systems**. * Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and project coordination. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and BOQs. * Good understanding of **Bahrain EWA/EDD requirements** is preferred. * Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. * Strong communication, coordination, and site\-management skills. * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * **Valid Bahrain Driving Licence preferred.** Preferred Skills Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects will be an advantage. Knowledge of electrical quantity take\-off, material procurement, project planning, progress reporting, and preparation of technical documentation is preferred.
