MEP Construction Supervisor

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced **MEP Construction Supervisor** with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate MEP works on active construction sites. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems**, with the ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily MEP activities. Current Bahrain MEP construction postings commonly emphasize hands\-on construction experience, drawing interpretation, site coordination, and immediate local availability. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily MEP construction and installation activities. * Oversee **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting** works. * Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications. * Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. * Supervise technicians, workers, subcontractors, and site teams. * Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and work progress. * Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and installation quality. * Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems. * Ensure MEP works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. * Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities. * Prepare daily and weekly progress/manpower reports. * Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and construction safety procedures. Requirements \& Qualifications * **3–5\+ years of relevant MEP construction supervision experience.** * Strong **building construction background is a must**. * Hands\-on experience in MEP installation and site supervision. * Good knowledge of: * HVAC systems * Electrical systems * Plumbing and water supply * Drainage systems * Firefighting/fire alarm systems * Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and shop drawings. * Experience supervising subcontractors, technicians, and site manpower. * Strong site coordination, leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience with **villa, residential, commercial, or high\-rise projects** is highly preferred. * **Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.** * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or related field is an advantage. * AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is an advantage. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner is strongly preferred.** * Candidates with a **cancelled/transferable visa or valid local status** are preferred.
