MEP Construction Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **MEP Construction Engineer** with a strong construction background to manage and coordinate MEP works for building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience with **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems**, particularly in residential, commercial, villa, or high\-rise projects. Current Bahrain MEP roles commonly emphasize site execution, drawing coordination, subcontractor supervision, and testing/commissioning. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP construction activities on site. * Manage installation of **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems**. * Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. * Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site workers. * Monitor manpower, materials, work progress, productivity, and installation quality. * Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and coordination issues. * Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions. * Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover. * Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management. * Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable Bahrain regulations. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in **Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering**, or a related field. * **3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience**. * Strong hands\-on construction experience is required. * Experience in **high\-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects** is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning. * Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications. * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. * Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, BIM/Revit, or Navisworks is an advantage. * Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem\-solving skills. * **Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.** * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner is highly preferred.** Preferred Candidate Candidates with **strong Bahrain construction experience**, particularly those who have worked on high\-rise Work Location: In person
