HR Officer

5–7 years of HR generalist experience. • At least 2 of those years as the sole HR employee, or as one of no more than two HR employees, at a single organization. • That HR experience was gained at an organization of roughly 50–500 employees with a workforce that included both office-based and production/floor-based roles. • Has personally authored and implemented at least two HR policies or processes end-to-end (for example: an attendance policy, an onboarding program, a performance review process), rather than inheriting them from a predecessor. • Hands-on, working knowledge of UAE Labour Law: employment contracts, leave entitlements, end-of-service gratuity calculation, WPS, and visa/sponsorship administration. • Direct experience administering visa, work permit, or sponsorship matters for expatriate employees. • Full-cycle recruitment experience (sourcing through offer) for both office-based and production/floor-based roles. • Willing and able to spend a minimum of one full day per week on the production floor. UAE Labour Law fundamentals: contracts, leave entitlements, end-of-service gratuity, WPS, visa/sponsorship basics. Knowledge • The full HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management, training, offboarding. • Cultural and religious context relevant to a South-Asian-majority, family-run workforce (e.g., remittance and home-leave patterns, religious observances, hierarchy and respect norms).
