Hostess - Chinese/ Cantonese Restaurant

YOUR ROLE As a Hostess, you will be the face of the restaurant, creating outstanding first impressions and setting the tone for the guest experience. You will welcome and assist guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure restaurant operations flow smoothly throughout service. Through your professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality, you will help create memorable dining experiences while upholding Rosewood's service standards and values. HOW YOU LL MAKE THE PLACE • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring exceptional arrival and departure experiences • Manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow to maximize service efficiency and guest satisfaction • Communicate VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and special requests to the service team • Maintain the presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the reception and restaurant areas • Support service excellence by monitoring guest satisfaction and assisting with service recovery when needed • Uphold Rosewood Brand Standards and LQA standards through every guest interaction • You have experience in a hostess, guest relations, restaurant, or hospitality environment • You are passionate about creating memorable first impressions and delivering exceptional guest experiences • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished and professional presence • You are highly organized and confident managing reservations, guest flow, and multiple priorities • You are comfortable using restaurant reservation and POS systems • You communicate fluently in English; additional language skills are highly valued
