Head of IT & Technology Development

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent field; postgraduate management qualification is an advantage. • Substantial progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure and enterprise applications, including responsibility for service delivery and technical decisions. Multi-company or multi-site experience is desirable. • ITIL, Microsoft, networking, cybersecurity, cloud or project-management certification as appropriate; demonstrable hands-on results matter more than certificates alone. • Arrange IT onboarding, transfers and offboarding: devices, accounts, email, access rights, standard applications, shared resources and timely account revocation. • Administer or oversee LAN/WAN, network switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls, VPNs, structured cabling and connectivity between offices and operating sites. • Maintain hardware inventory and custody records; select, procure, image/configure, deploy, repair, replace and securely retire employee and shared equipment • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred. • Minimum of 9+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with a proven track record in technology development and strategy. • Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps), and cybersecurity frameworks. • Experience in [Specific Industry, e.g., FinTech, Healthcare, SaaS] is highly desirable, providing relevant market insights.
