Facility Supervisor

Position: Facility Supervisor 1. Job Purpose To supervise day-to-day facility maintenance activities, ensure the proper functioning of building services, coordinate maintenance staff and contractors, and maintain buildings in a safe, clean, and operational condition in accordance with company standards and applicable UAE regulations. 2. Qualifications and Experience Required • Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. • Typically, 3–5 years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or MEP operations. • Experience in commercial buildings, residential towers, hotels, or mixed-use properties is preferred. • Proven experience in supervising technicians and maintenance contractors. • Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory. 3. Technical Knowledge and Skills • Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, district cooling services, AHUs, and FCUs. • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, generators, and emergency power systems. • Knowledge of plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems. • Familiarity with fire alarm and firefighting systems. • Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and preventive maintenance procedures. • Experience with CAFM/CMMS software and maintenance reporting. • Familiarity with applicable Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, and other relevant authority requirements. • Knowledge of UAE health and safety practices and permit-to-work procedures. • Good technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Good English communication and report-writing skills. • Ability to plan maintenance activities, control costs, and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
