Chief Executive Officer - Retail & E-Commerce

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for driving the company s overall business strategy, profitability, and operational excellence across its e-commerce platforms and retail distribution operations. The role will oversee commercial performance, supply chain and distribution, digital transformation, financial management, and organizational development, ensuring sustainable growth and a seamless customer experience across all channels. Key Accountabilities: • Develop and execute the company s overall business strategy to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion. • Identify new revenue streams, business opportunities, and strategic partnerships across e-commerce and retail distribution. • Strengthen the company s competitive positioning within the Saudi retail market through market intelligence and industry trend analysis. • Oversee sales, marketing, e-commerce, and distribution strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement while enhancing the customer experience across all sales channels. • Lead the growth and performance of digital commerce platforms, optimizing online sales, conversion rates, and digital marketing effectiveness. • Oversee retail distribution, logistics, warehousing, procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment. • Improve operational efficiency, supply chain performance, cost optimization, and service delivery. • Own the company s P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and overall financial performance. • Establish performance KPIs, monitor business results, and implement initiatives to improve revenue, margins, and profitability. • Lead digital transformation initiatives and leverage technology and data analytics to enhance business performance. • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing executive team, fostering accountability, innovation, and collaboration. • Oversee workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. • Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, board members, key suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners. • Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi regulations and establish effective corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management practices. • Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail, e-commerce, distribution, consumer goods, or a related industry. • Proven track record as a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or senior executive leading a sizeable business or multiple business functions. • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, revenue expansion, and P&L performance. • Strong experience across e-commerce and retail distribution, ideally covering both digital and traditional sales channels. • Solid understanding of the Saudi retail market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape. • Proven expertise in commercial strategy, sales leadership, marketing, and customer experience. • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, inventory optimization, logistics, and distribution operations. • Experience leading digital transformation, e-commerce growth initiatives, and technology-enabled business improvements. • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and profitability optimization. • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams and drive organizational change. • Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken. • A bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
