Category Head - Private Label

• Develop and execute a comprehensive private label strategy to drive category growth and market share. • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle management for private label products, from ideation to launch and performance analysis. • Identify and cultivate strong relationships with manufacturing partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality standards. • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities and optimize the existing portfolio. • Set pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize profitability and achieve sales targets for private label offerings. • Oversee product development, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, quality benchmarks, and cost objectives. • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless product execution. • Manage the P&L for the private label category, driving revenue growth and optimizing gross margins. • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction. • Continuously evaluate and refine the private label assortment to meet evolving consumer needs and business objectives. • Proven track record of successfully launching and growing private label product lines with measurable business impact. • Demonstrated expertise in product development, sourcing, and vendor management, with strong negotiation skills. • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, sales performance, and financial reports. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision. • 7 Plus of progressive experience in private label management, ideally within the retail or consumer goods industry.
