Technical Office Engineer

Prepare architectural or structural shop drawings based on design documents and project specifications. Review design drawings and ensure technical clarity, completeness, and constructability. Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP engineers to resolve conflicts and align multidisciplinary outputs. Issue RFIs (Requests for Information) for missing or unclear information in design documents and follow up with consultants or design teams. Support the procurement team by providing technical inputs related to materials, specifications, and drawing references. Participate in quantity take-offs and support the estimation team in validating BOQs when required. Maintain drawing logs, revision records, and documentation tracking for technical submissions. Provide technical support to site teams, clarifying drawings and resolving issues during implementation. Review shop drawings or submittals from subcontractors to ensure compliance with design intent. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project close-out documentation Preparing shop drawings Develops construction-ready documents from design drawings. Reviewing technical inputs Checks project documents for consistency, errors, and missing details. Interdisciplinary coordination Aligns architectural, structural, and MEP scopes to prevent clashes. Technical clarification Responds to RFIs and supports the site in resolving design-related issues. Documentation control Maintains organized records of submissions, approvals, and revisions. Supporting material coordination Provides drawing references for procurement or vendor submittals.
