Tax Consultant

• Prepare, review, and submit UAE VAT returns in accordance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations. • Handle VAT registration, deregistration, amendments, and VAT compliance documentation. • Assist clients with UAE Corporate Tax registration, tax return preparation, filing, and compliance. • Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and review supporting documents. • Manage bookkeeping and accounting activities using Zoho Books . • Prepare financial reports, VAT reconciliations, and other accounting schedules. • Assist with GoAML registration, reporting, and compliance-related activities , including suspicious transaction reporting where applicable. • Support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance procedures. • Conduct client due diligence and maintain proper AML documentation and records. • Monitor changes in UAE tax laws, FTA guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. • Communicate with clients regarding tax filings, accounting queries, documentation, and compliance matters. • Ensure timely submission of tax returns and other statutory filings. • Coordinate with relevant authorities and assist with tax-related audits and assessments when required. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. • Relevant experience in UAE taxation, accounting, or tax consultancy. • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, VAT return filing, and FTA procedures . • Practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and related compliance requirements. • Hands-on experience with GoAML and knowledge of AML/KYC compliance requirements. • Proficiency in Zoho Books , including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and client-handling skills. • Ability to manage multiple clients and meet filing deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
