Site Engineer

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. • Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Site Supervisors for smooth project execution. • Review architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings before executing site activities. • Ensure construction works are completed according to approved method statements and project schedules. • Monitor and supervise civil works, including excavation, foundations, concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, blockwork, plastering, and finishing works. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with project specifications. • Prepare daily progress reports, site inspection reports, and other technical documentation. • Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers to arrange inspections and obtain consultant approvals. • Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to maintain productivity. • Identify technical issues at the site and coordinate with the engineering team to implement appropriate solutions. • Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, HSE requirements, and company safety policies. • Verify site measurements, quantities, and completed works for progress reporting and billing purposes. • Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability of construction materials. • Attend site coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and subcontractors. • Monitor project progress against the approved construction schedule and report delays or potential risks. • Ensure proper implementation of approved shop drawings and construction methodologies. • Assist in preparing Requests for Information (RFIs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). • Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration of civil and MEP works. • Maintain accurate site records, including inspection approvals, progress reports, and as-built documentation. • Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives within the specified timeline, budget, and quality requirements. • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution. • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and shop drawings. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. • Knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, finishing works, and structural construction. • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs. • Understanding of project planning and scheduling. • Knowledge of construction materials and quantity calculations. • Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and construction standards. • Strong site supervision and subcontractor coordination skills. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
