Civil Site Engineer

1. 1. Site Supervision & Construction Execution • Site Supervision: Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Quality Control: Inspect construction works, monitor workmanship, and ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications. • Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily site progress, prepare progress reports, and coordinate with the project team to achieve project milestones. • Site Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project managers to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution. 2. Drawing Interpretation & Site Inspection • Drawing Interpretation: Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accurate implementation on site. • Site Layout & Inspection: Assist with site setting out, verify dimensions and levels, and inspect completed works for compliance with design requirements. • Issue Identification: Identify discrepancies between drawings, specifications, and site conditions, and report them for timely resolution. • Material Inspection: Verify construction materials and ensure they meet project specifications and quality requirements before installation. 3. Project Coordination & Safety Compliance • Resource Management: Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support efficient construction activities. • Project Documentation: Maintain daily site reports, inspection records, work progress reports, and other project documentation. • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment. • Project Completion: Assist in inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure successful project completion. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: • 3–5+ years of proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in AutoCAD and interpreting engineering and construction drawings. • Strong knowledge of site supervision, RCC works, structural works, finishing works, and construction methods. • Experience in quality control (QA/QC), site inspections, and project execution. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. • Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an advantage. • Familiarity with construction standards, building codes, and HSE regulations.
