Service Advisor cum Estimator – Automotive / Garage

• Prepare accurate vehicle repair estimates based on inspection findings, repair requirements, labour costs, and spare parts. • Visit insurance companies to submit vehicle repair estimates and supporting documents as required. • Follow up with insurance companies to obtain repair approvals, negotiate estimate adjustments, and resolve pending cases. • Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle inspection findings, repair costs, approval status, repair progress, and expected completion dates. • Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to assess repair requirements, monitor work progress, and ensure timely vehicle delivery. • Coordinate with the spare parts purchasing team to confirm parts availability, pricing, and delivery timelines. • Follow up on pending insurance approvals, spare parts orders, and ongoing vehicle repairs to avoid unnecessary delays. • Review approved estimates and ensure that repair work is carried out within the approved scope and budget. • Inform customers of any additional repair requirements, cost variations, or delays and obtain the necessary approvals before proceeding. • Maintain accurate records of estimates, insurance approvals, customer communications, repair orders, and vehicle delivery schedules. • Act as the main point of contact between customers, insurance companies, technicians, and the purchasing team throughout the repair process. • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication, timely updates, and effective complaint handling. • Ensure all estimation and service advisory activities comply with company procedures and insurance requirements. • Previous experience as an Automotive Estimator, Service Advisor, or in a similar role within an automotive garage, workshop, or service center. • Practical knowledge of vehicle repair estimation, labour costing, spare parts pricing, and insurance approval procedures. • Experience coordinating with insurance companies for vehicle repair estimates and approvals. • Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. • Ability to assess repair requirements, prepare accurate quotations, and explain repair recommendations to customers. • Good coordination skills to manage multiple repair cases and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with automotive workshop operations and repair processes. • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, including maintaining accurate documentation. • UAE automotive or garage experience is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and garage management systems is an advantage.
