Senior Officer Payroll & Reconciliation

• Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary, benefits, and statutory deductions. • Conduct in-depth payroll reconciliations, meticulously comparing payroll outputs against HR records, general ledger, and tax filings to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Develop and implement robust internal controls for payroll and reconciliation processes, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. • Manage and process complex payroll adjustments, including back pay, overpayments, and bonus calculations, with a high degree of accuracy. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. • Professional certification such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or equivalent is highly desirable. • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll processing and reconciliation within a corporate environment. • Proven experience in a similar role within the [Specify Industry, e.g., manufacturing, technology, retail] sector.
