Senior Network Engineer

• Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions to meet business requirements. • Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise routers and switches (primarily Juniper ). • Implement and support routing protocols ( BGP, OSPF ) and switching technologies ( VLANs, STP ). • Administer network security devices, including FortiGate firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs). • Deploy and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers to ensure high availability and optimized application delivery. • Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG , and proactively resolve issues. • Troubleshoot complex network incidents using packet analysis tools ( Wireshark, tcpdump ). • Plan and execute network capacity upgrades and bandwidth optimization. • Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and change records. • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and mentor junior network engineers. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 networking , and routing protocols ( BGP, OSPF ). • Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware , especially Juniper . • Proven expertise in firewall management and VPN configurations (Fortinet FortiGate). • Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers , including traffic management and SSL offloading. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Exposure to network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus. • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
