Senior Engineer Estimation (civil)

Our expertise includes Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, E&I, HVAC, Fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Boilers, Tanks, Heavy Structures, FRP Services, Insulation & Scaffolding Services, Testing & Inspection Services, Supply of Ready-mix concrete, Rental of Heavy Equipment’s, Hot Dip Galvanizing, Precision Machining, Motor rewinding, etc. for EPC contractors and major oil companies. As we expand our footprint with multi-million-dollar bids, we seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Estimation Engineer – Civil to join our Tendering & Proposal Department at our regional office. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works in oil & gas construction projects. • Strong hands-on experience in ���-����� ���������� and tendering. • Experience in civil estimation for Oil & Gas, EPC, or industrial construction projects. • Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost analysis, rate build-ups, and tender submissions. • Experience with EPC contractors or Oil & Gas subcontractors. • Ability to independently prepare and review competitive project estimates. • Analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs) and identify project scope and key requirements. • Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to obtain updated material and subcontractor pricing. • Develop pricing strategies, risk assessments, and value engineering options for competitive bidding. • Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals including technical and commercial submissions. • Conduct site visits (when required) to gather technical inputs and assess local conditions. • Maintain estimation databases, unit rates, and cost libraries for continuous improvement. Preferred Candidate Profile: • Experience with international contractors or projects in the GCC region. • Strong knowledge of piping and structural interfaces with civil works is a plus. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender submission deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in cost estimation within the oil & gas sector, preferably with a subcontractor. • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, market rates, and contractual requirements. • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, Excel). • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
