Estimation Engineer – Mechanical

• Review RFT/ITT/RFQ documents, scope of work, technical specifications, ADNOC standards, and contractual/commercial requirements. • Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, piping, and pipeline works for Oil & Gas projects, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and tie-in works. • Perform quantity take-offs and prepare/validate MTOs and BOQs using engineering drawings, P&IDs, plot plans, piping GA drawings, and isometrics. • Develop cost estimates, rate analyses, and pricing sheets covering materials, fabrication, welding, installation, testing, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor costs. • Obtain and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and market rates to ensure competitive pricing. • Attend site visits and prepare technical and commercial queries for tender clarifications. • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and estimation reports. • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, and Commercial teams. • Identify project risks, deviations, assumptions, exclusions, and value-engineering opportunities. • Support tender reviews, bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, and timely tender submissions. • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification. • 5–8 years of experience in mechanical estimation within the Oil & Gas industry. • Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, mechanical/piping works, BOQ/MTO preparation, and cost estimation. • Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related tools.
