Senior Accountant

• Own the full accounting cycle for a group of 3 companies in construction/contracting and equipment rental, through month-end and year-end close • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations and group consolidation • Run accounts payable and receivable: supplier payments, customer invoicing and collections • Prepare bank reconciliations and track daily cash position and cash flow • Deliver monthly MIS reports to management (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables ageing) • Prepare and file UAE VAT returns with the FTA and keep VAT records audit-ready • Process monthly payroll and WPS salary transfers; maintain gratuity and leave accruals • Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors through the year-end audit • Provide data to and coordinate with external consultants on UAE Corporate Tax • Lead and review the work of a small team of junior accountants • Report directly to the owner/management • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance; CA, ACCA or CMA preferred • 5–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE • Experience in construction/contracting or equipment rental companies • Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems • Working knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS and end-of-service gratuity rules • Experience handling multiple entities and consolidation • Strong Excel skills • Currently in the UAE and able to join immediately
