Sales Engineer - Steel Fabrication Projects

• Translate complex client requirements into detailed technical proposals and cost estimates for custom steel fabrication projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. • Conduct in-depth site assessments and project analyses to identify potential challenges and opportunities, proactively developing innovative fabrication solutions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors by providing expert technical guidance and responsive support throughout the project lifecycle. • Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure proposed designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet all quality and safety standards. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus. • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales engineering, project management, or technical sales within the steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing industry. • Proven track record of successfully selling complex, high-value steel fabrication projects to industrial, commercial, or infrastructure clients. • Strong understanding of steel types, welding processes, fabrication techniques, structural design principles, and relevant industry codes (e.g., AISC, AWS).
