Sales and Operations Leader

Hiring for a Dubai based startup bringing people together in restaurants around shared interests. From AI and finance to travel and sport, our platform helps company discover tables where they can enjoy a meal and a conversation with people who share their interests. Our ambition is to tackle loneliness one table at a time while helping restaurant partners generate incremental revenue and make better use of available capacity. Your mission Become the key sales and operational contact between company and its restaurant partners. You will identify and win suitable restaurants, develop productive relationships and coordinate our initial Phase 1 test dinners with restaurant teams and Pro-Minglers. You will own the follow-through from the first conversation to a well-executed dinner and a clear view of what we learned. Restaurant sales and partnerships •Build and manage a prospect pipeline across Dubai, initially focusing on Marina, JBR, DIFC and Downtown. Identify restaurants with the right audience, experience and commercial potential. •Reach restaurant owners, general managers and commercial decision makers through outreach, introductions and regular venue visits. Present company clearly and handle objections confidently. •Negotiate proposed menus, pricing, table availability and operating arrangements within agreed company guidelines. Coordinate approval and onboarding with the leadership team. •Act as the main partner contact, maintain an accurate CRM, agree next steps and turn initial test participation into repeat dinner opportunities. Dinners coordination •Turn the Phase 1 plan into a practical dinner calendar, matching restaurants, shared interests, table capacity and available Pro-Minglers. •Confirm each dinner with the venue and host. Align the menu, price, guest numbers, seating, timings and responsibilities before the event. •Brief Pro-Minglers on the venue and dinner arrangements and coordinate their readiness with the team responsible for host training. •Track bookings and readiness, flag underfilled tables early and coordinate attendance-building actions with marketing and the Pro-Mingler community. •Be present at priority test dinners and serve as the operational escalation contact. Resolve issues with the venue and host, and coordinate any changes or cancellations. •Collect guest, host and restaurant feedback after each dinner. Maintain an issue log, assign follow-up actions and recommend improvements for the next events. • A Master’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality management or a related discipline, with approximately 2–3 years of relevant professional experience. • Ideally, B2B sales or account management experience selling to restaurants in Dubai, for example at Careem, OpenTable, Zomato or another restaurant technology, hospitality or supply business. • A track record of opening doors, winning accounts and following through. An existing network of restaurant decision makers is a strong advantage. • Ambition, energy and resilience, combined with practical organization. You enjoy prospecting and are equally willing to check a seating plan or solve an issue on the night. • Confident English communication, negotiation skills and comfort with CRM systems and spreadsheets. Additional languages are an advantage. • Ability to travel regularly to Dubai venues and work evenings when test dinners take place, with working arrangements agreed in advance.
