JOB PURPOSE :
To develop and grow rental business for Load Banks, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and LV/MV Transformers by identifying new opportunities, managing customer relationships, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and securing profitable rental contracts across the UAE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Load Banks, BESS and Transformer rental solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, MEP contractors, consultants, utilities, data centres and industrial customers.
• Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, site surveys and sales presentations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable rental solutions based on project specifications.
• Coordinate with technical teams to develop equipment configurations and integrated temporary power solutions.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations for daily, weekly, monthly and long-term rentals.
• Negotiate rental rates, commercial terms and follow up on quotations to secure orders.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics and technical teams for equipment availability and project mobilisation.
• Manage key accounts, rental contract extensions, customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain sales forecasts, customer records, pipeline reports and support payment follow-ups.
*Achieve assigned sales, rental revenue and gross profit targets.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES: The candidate should possess a good understanding of:
• Load Banks: Resistive, reactive and combined load banks; generator, UPS and power system testing; load sizing and applications.
• BESS: Battery capacity (kW/MW, kWh/MWh), energy storage, peak shaving and hybrid power solutions.
Transformers: LV/MV distribution transformers, ratings, voltage ratios, sizing, switchgear and protection requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience in technical sales, equipment rental or power solutions.
• Experience in Load Bank, BESS, transformer, generator or electrical equipment rental will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of electrical power systems and temporary power applications.
• Previous experience in UAE/GCC markets is preferred.
• Experience dealing with EPC contractors, utilities, consultants, data centres and industrial customers.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
• Gross profit and rental margin achievement.
• Achievement of assigned rental revenue and sales targets.
• New customer acquisition and key account development.
• Number and value of qualified rental opportunities generated.
• Quotation conversion ratio.
• Growth in equipment utilisation through secured rental contracts.
• Customer retention and repeat business.
• Accuracy of sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
• Timely collection support and compliance with commercial terms.
