Quantity Surveyor – Construction

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Quantity Surveyor** to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in **construction quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and commercial management**, with **proven GCC experience required**. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate **quantity take\-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents**. * Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine quantities and costs. * Monitor project budgets, costs, material quantities, and overall commercial performance. * Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparative statements. * Manage **interim valuations, payment applications, variations, claims, and final accounts**. * Monitor and evaluate variations, change orders, and additional works. * Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. * Conduct site measurements and verify completed works for valuation purposes. * Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors. * Identify potential cost risks and recommend appropriate cost\-control measures. * Prepare regular cost reports, commercial reports, and other project\-related documentation. * Support procurement and subcontract negotiations to achieve cost\-effective solutions. * Maintain accurate records of project quantities, costs, contracts, variations, and payments. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in **Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management**, or a related field. * **Minimum 4–6 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.** * **GCC experience is mandatory.** * Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take\-offs, estimation, costing, and commercial documentation. * Experience with variations, claims, valuations, subcontractor payments, and final accounts. * Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial procedures. * Proficiency in **MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS/estimation software**. * Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. * **Candidates currently available in Bahrain are preferred.** * **Immediate joiners are highly preferred.** Work Location: In person
