Purchasing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: • Supervise daily purchasing operations and process approved purchase requisitions. • Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality. • Prepare and monitor purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries. • Maintain good relationships with approved suppliers and evaluate their performance. • Coordinate with all hotel departments to meet their purchasing requirements. • Monitor purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Coordinate with Stores and Receiving to ensure proper delivery and inventory control. • Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with Marriott policies. Qualifications: • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 2 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in hospitality and Marriott property. • Knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier negotiations, and inventory control. • Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing systems. • Strong leadership, integrity, and attention to detail.
