Proposals & Pursuits Manager

Position: Proposals & Pursuits Manager Compensation: Competitive Package Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Overview Gateworth is working with a prestigious multinational business which is looking to hire a Proposals & Pursuits Manager. This role will support the companies growth across the Middle East by identifying new business opportunities, leading pursuit activity, and developing compelling bid winning proposals. Alongside the global Bids function and Business Development team, the Proposals & Pursuits Manager will drive planning and execution across a range of client development initiatives which elevate the brands positioning in the market. Main Responsibilities Lead the coordination and delivery of proposals, ensuring submissions are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop pursuit strategies, define key messaging, and position the business effectively for each opportunity. Draft, review, and refine proposal content, presentations, and supporting documentation for submissions and client presentations. Partner with internal teams and senior stakeholders to qualify opportunities and support pursuit planning across a diverse portfolio of offerings. Develop tailored capability statements, credentials documents, and client-facing collateral to support targeted business development initiatives. Leverage internal knowledge management and CRM systems to source relevant content and drive efficient proposal development. Maintain and enhance the proposal content library, ensuring materials remain accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand standards. Track and analyse proposal activity, providing insights, reporting, and recommendations to improve processes, win rates, and overall bid effectiveness. Contribute to the continuous improvement of proposal and pursuit practices by implementing best-practices and sharing lessons learned across the business. Work with regional and global counterparts to align local bid activity with client development strategic priorities. This position is open exclusively to Saudi Nationals in line with the company's Saudization initiative. Full fluency in both Arabic and English is essential. Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end bids and pursuits, including developing winning strategies and advising stakeholders on the most effective approach. Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to create, tailor and refine persuasive client-facing content. Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, collaborating closely with internal teams and driving delivery to meet proposal deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high performing environment. While industry background is flexible, our client has a preference for candidates who have operated within multinational organisations with dedicated Bids teams, ideally within sectors such as engineering, professional services, legal, or financial services.
