Procurement Officer

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and sourcing of waterproofing products, construction chemicals, and related building materials. The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement, competitive pricing, product quality, and efficient inventory management to support the company's operations. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing. • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers of waterproofing materials and construction chemicals. • Source products such as PU membranes, bituminous membranes, cementitious waterproofing, adhesives, sealants, insulation materials, and other related products. • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers. • Prepare and review purchase orders, quotations, and procurement documents. • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse and sales departments to maintain adequate inventory. • Ensure materials meet the required technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. • Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, delivery schedules, and urgent orders. • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and price fluctuations. • Develop alternative suppliers and sourcing options to minimize procurement costs and supply risks. • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. • Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and purchasing forecasts for management. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the waterproofing, construction materials, or building materials industry. • Good knowledge of waterproofing products, construction chemicals, and building materials. • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills. • Experience in inventory control, cost analysis, and procurement planning. • Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchasing requirements. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. • Strategic sourcing and supplier management • Cost control and negotiation • Inventory and stock management • Market research and supplier evaluation • Technical product knowledge • Planning and decision-making
