Procurement Assistant

• Assist with purchasing construction materials, electrical items, plumbing materials, tools, and other site requirements. • Request quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules. • Prepare purchase orders and purchase requests for approval. • Coordinate with suppliers regarding material availability, pricing, delivery, and payment terms. • Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites. • Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, invoices, and delivery notes. • Coordinate with site engineers, storekeepers, accounts staff, and project managers. • Assist in identifying new suppliers and negotiating competitive prices. • Track material requirements and maintain procurement documentation. • Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and approved requirements. • 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience; UAE experience preferred. • Experience in building contracting, construction materials, or MEP procurement is an advantage. • Good knowledge of construction materials, electrical items, plumbing materials, and general building supplies. • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication. • Strong negotiation, coordination, organization, and follow-up skills. • Good English communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchase requests. • Immediate availability is an advantage
