Job Description
DSCA Building & Contracting is looking for a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to join our construction operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling construction schedules for high-rise building projects, ensuring timely execution and effective project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed project baseline schedules, construction programs, and progress updates.
· Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
· Monitor actual project progress against approved timelines and identify potential delays.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and project stakeholders.
· Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective measures and recovery plans.
· Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
· Monitor manpower, equipment, and resource requirements in coordination with project teams.
· Assist in preparing delay analysis reports, progress presentations, and project forecasts.
· Ensure effective planning coordination between construction activities and technical deliverables.
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant planning experience in high-rise building construction; 4+ years preferred.
· Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
· Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, progress monitoring, and critical path analysis.
· Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
· Experience preparing baseline schedules, recovery programs, and progress reports.
· Previous experience with UAE building construction projects is preferred.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Immediate joiners are preferred.
Important: Direct experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory. Candidates with infrastructure-only planning experience will not be considered.
