Senior Planning Engineer

• Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6. • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks. • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients. • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractor to ensure project milestones are achieved. • Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary. • Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed activities. • Track project productivity, resources, and manpower utilization. • Support the preparation of claims, EOT submissions, and project control documentation. • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project deadlines. • Candidates must have extensive experience with main contracting companies . • Experience in UAE/GCC construction projects is highly preferred. • Candidates from consultancy backgrounds only will not be considered . • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering . • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the construction and contracting industry. • Proven experience working with main contractors on villas, hotels, building, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects. • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project . • Experience in preparing baseline programs, recovery programs, look-ahead schedules, and progress reports. • Strong understanding of project execution, construction sequencing, and resource planning. • Ability to conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims is an advantage. • Familiar with contract requirements and project controls procedures. • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
