Order Taker

The Order Taker plays a vital role in our Food & Beverage department, acting as the first point of contact for guests and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. This position is important as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention, contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities • Greet and engage customers in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive dining experience • Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders • Identify opportunities for menu improvements based on customer feedback and preferences • Train and mentor new team members on best practices in customer service and order processing Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment • Proficient in point-of-sale systems and order processing technology • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu items • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting • Leadership experience or training in customer service • Additional certifications in food safety or hospitality management
