Waitress

The position will be responsible for greeting customers and offering the restaurant or bars menus, answering questions about menu offerings, processing food and drink orders, carrying food and drinks from the kitchen to tables, and preparing bills and processing payments. Job Responsibilities: • To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following ENCORE Standards of Performanc • To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub-departments of the Food & Beverage Division • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned • To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the supervisor. • To perform opening and closing procedures established for the place of work as assigned. • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage combinations and upsell alternatives. • To provide a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service as per Standard Operational Procedures. • To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times. • To handle guest enquiries courteously and efficiently. • Assist in carrying out a monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly, and yearly inventory of operating equipment. • Understand and adhere to all CORE s policies including but not limited to CORE Code of Conduct • 2 years of experience as a waiter or waitress • 1 year of experience with a POS system • High school diploma: food safety training will be considered a plus
