MEP Works Supervisor – Construction

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **MEP Works Supervisor** to oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across construction projects in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on experience supervising MEP installations, coordinating site activities, managing MEP technicians and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. **GCC construction experience is mandatory**, with experience in **villa, residential, commercial, or high\-rise building projects** highly preferred. Key Responsibilities * Supervise daily **MEP installation and construction activities** at project sites. * Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related MEP works. * Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. * Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, subcontractors, and other construction teams. * Monitor the progress and quality of MEP works and ensure activities remain on schedule. * Review drawings and identify site coordination issues or potential clashes before installation. * Supervise MEP technicians, workers, and subcontractors on site. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper installation and workmanship. * Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, structural, and finishing activities. * Monitor the use of materials and ensure proper handling, storage, and installation. * Assist in material inspections and ensure materials comply with approved specifications. * Identify site issues, delays, defects, and technical problems and coordinate appropriate solutions. * Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and inspection of completed MEP installations. * Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other required documentation. * Ensure compliance with **health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements**. * Coordinate testing and inspections with consultants and relevant authorities when required. * Support project handover activities, including snagging, rectification, testing, and commissioning. Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering**, or a related technical field. * **4–7 years of relevant experience** in MEP works supervision within the construction industry. * **GCC construction experience is mandatory.** * Strong hands\-on knowledge of **MEP installation and site coordination**. * Experience supervising MEP works for **villas, residential buildings, commercial buildings, or high\-rise projects**. * Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other building services. * Ability to read and interpret **MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents**. * Experience coordinating MEP works with civil and finishing activities. * Strong knowledge of construction site safety and quality requirements. * Good leadership and team supervision skills. * Strong communication and problem\-solving abilities. * Proficiency in MS Office and relevant MEP/construction documentation. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiners are highly preferred.** Preferred Skills * Experience working with main contractors, MEP contractors, or construction companies. * Knowledge of **Bahrain/GCC building standards and authority requirements** is an advantage. * Experience with high\-rise or large\-scale building projects is an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple MEP activities and coordinate site priorities effectively.
