MEP Coordinator – Construction

**Job Summary** We are looking for an experienced and technically strong **MEP Coordinator** to join our Construction Department in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have **3–5 years of experience in a similar MEP Supervisor/Coordinator role**, specifically within **villa or high\-rise building projects**. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP works on\-site, ensuring proper installation and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building services in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise daily **MEP activities** across construction sites. * Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and other MEP works. * Ensure MEP installations are executed according to **approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements**. * Review and interpret **MEP shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and technical specifications**. * Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, and civil works to avoid clashes and delays. * Work closely with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other construction teams. * Monitor subcontractors and MEP workers to ensure proper execution of works. * Track MEP work progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues to management. * Coordinate material requirements and ensure materials are available according to project requirements and schedules. * Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality and progress of MEP installations. * Identify and resolve site coordination issues, technical problems, and MEP clashes. * Assist in coordinating **MEP testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities**. * Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements. * Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities when required. * Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress updates and reports. * Monitor site manpower, productivity, and material usage. * Review MEP installation works and ensure proper sequencing with other construction activities. * Assist in preparing and reviewing **snagging lists** and ensure timely closure of MEP\-related defects. * Maintain proper documentation, drawings, inspection records, and MEP project reports. * Support the project team during testing, commissioning, handover, and close\-out activities. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in **Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field**. * **3–5 years of working experience** in a similar **MEP Supervisor or MEP Coordinator** role. * Proven experience specifically in **villa and/or high\-rise building projects**. * Strong knowledge of **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and other building services**. * Ability to read and interpret **MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and coordinated drawings**. * Good understanding of MEP installation, construction sequencing, testing, and commissioning. * Experience coordinating MEP works with **civil, structural, and architectural activities**. * Experience supervising subcontractors and site MEP teams. * Strong knowledge of construction site practices and safety requirements. * Good coordination, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to identify MEP clashes and coordinate appropriate solutions. * Proficiency in **MS Office**; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. * Knowledge of **Bahrain/GCC construction standards and practices** is an advantage. * Good command of **English**, both written and spoken. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiners are preferred.** **Preferred Candidate Profile** The ideal candidate should be a hands\-on MEP professional with strong site coordination experience and the ability to manage multiple MEP activities simultaneously. Candidates with experience in **residential villas, high\-rise buildings, commercial buildings, or large\-scale construction projects** will be highly considered. Work Location: In person
